Os responsáveis Kadokawa pela revista Young Ace (revista oficial que publica/publicava Evangelion no Japão) anunciou nesta terça-feira (04/03/2014) que o escritor Yushi Kawata e artista Yukito irão publicar um novo mangá spinoff (sem relação com a serie original) de Neon Genesis Evangelion na edição de Maio da revista, que será lançado dia 04 de Abril.
O slogan do anuncio é: “O estágio é ‘Eva’ X Departamento de Jogo!? Olhe para essa combinação única!”. Apesar de não ter nenhuma informação ainda sobre a história do mangá, especulam-se que o mangá seja uma forma de vender algum jogo baseado em Evangelion.
A dupla Yshi kawata e Yukito também foram responsáveis por um especial do mangá Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken).
