É comum, principalmente se tratando de Evangelion, os produtores lançarem, algum tempo depois, artbooks com os primeiros esboços de cenas da animação. A Eva Store anunciou o 2º Volume de Groundwork Of Evangelion 3.0 para 22 de agosto de 2014.
O foco principal desse volume é a segunda parte do filme, possui 384 páginas em tamanho A4 e assim como o 1º volume será todo colorido. Cada uma das imagens digitalizadas foram cuidadosamente reproduzida para retocar as texturas do lápis colorido original, sendo assim mais fácil de entender a tecnologia e o engenho dos animadores.

It is common producers launch, sometime later, artbooks with the first sketches of scenes of animation. Eva Store announced the 2nd Volume Groundwork Of Evangelion 3.0 for August 22, 2014. The main focus of this volume is the second part of the film, has 384 pages in A4 size and just as the 1st volume will be all colorful. Each of the scanned images were carefully reproduced to touch the textures of the original colored pencil, thus easier to understand the technology and the ingenuity of the animators.
