Bem, por onde começar … Eu sou cosplayer desde 2012, tenho 19 anos e moro no norte da Itália.
Conheci Evangelion quando eu tinha algo em torno de 7 anos de idade. Meu irmão baixou no meu mp3 a abertura e eu me apaixonei totalmente por ela. Então eu descobri que era sobre um anime na MTV, mas meu irmão disse que eu ainda era uma criança para vê-lo e por isso eu me lembro das vezes quando eu costumava ligar a TV apenas por um minuto e alguns segundos para ouvir a música e depois mudar o canal.
Três anos atrás eu fui ao cinema no “Evangelion Night” e vi os dois primeiros filmes de Rebuild. Eu estava tão fascinada e curiosa que no dia seguinte eu comecei a ver o anime e … eu assisti todos os episódios mais o The End of Evangelion em apenas um dia !! ahahah Depois eu decidi que era hora de deixar as pessoas saberem o quanto eu amo o anime fazendo um cosplay. Mas qual personagem? Foi difícil escolher, mas eu comecei com o uniforme da escola (o mais fácil de fazer) e a Asuka, porque eu não gosto de cabelo curto como o da Rei. Quando eu comecei a me sentir confiante com esse personagem eu a achei muito semelhante a mim, eu comecei a me perguntar (e para minha tia, porque ela é a única capaz de costurar) se era possível fazer um plugsuit… bem, nos levou oito meses mas foi possível e é um dos cosplays que eu mais me orgulhoso, é uma honra para mim fazer uma personagem que eu amo e ver que muitas pessoas gostam do meu trabalho. Ganhei um concurso de cosplay dedicada a Evangelion em uma das maiores convenções na Itália também, você não pode sequer imaginar como eu fui feliz.

well, where to strart… I’m a cosplayer since 2012, i’m 19 and i live in north Italy.
i first met Evangelion when I was something like 7 years old. My brother downloaded on my mp3 the opening and I totally fell in love with it. Then i discovered that it was about an anime on MTv, but my brother said i was still a child to watch it and so i remember the times when i used to turn on the tv only for a minute and some seconds of music and then switch it off.
Three years ago I went to the cinema for the Evangelion Night and I saw the first two films of the Rebuild. I was so fascinated and curious that the day after I started watch the anime and… i watched every episode plus the end of evangelion just in one day!! ahahah After that i decided that it was time for me to let people know how much i love that anime doing a cosplay. But which character? It was hard to choose, but i started with the school uniform (the most easy to do) and Asuka because i don’t like short hair like Rei’s. When i started feeling confident with that character that i found very similar to me, i started asked myself (and to my aunt, because she’s the one able to sew) if it was possible to do a Plugsuit…. well, it took us 8 month but it was pssible and it’s one of the cosplay i’m more proud about, It’s a honor for me to do a character I love and see that a lot people like my work. I won a cosplay contest dedicated to evangelion in one of the biggest convention in Italy, too, and you cannot even image how happy i was.
