Até então um rumor de que um novo “curta” de Evangelion (como until You come to me) seria lançando durante o Animator Expo que acontece no Japão acaba de ser confirmado pela organização do evento.
O nome do curta é evangelion:Another Impact（Confidential), que pode ser encontrado também precedido de “第12話” (episódio 12), que significa que é a 12ª animação do estúdio (12ª animação do estúdio em geral e não de evangelion).
Dirigido por Shinji Aramaki e produzido pela SOLA DIGITAL ARTS, o curta teve a seguinte sinopse divulgada pela site do Animator Expo:
Um outro tempo, um outro lugar.
Um teste de ativação de uma arma decisiva estava em andamento.
Com o seu desenvolvimento e testes operacionais envolto em completo
sigilo, um Outro Número – Unidade Null (Another Number – Unit Null), de repente se liberta do controle dos humanos e fica furioso.Com que finalidade foi “Another Number – Unit Null” criado?
A história de ativação e a fúria de um Evangelion uivando em outro mundo.
