Foi em outubro de 2013, quando na New York Comic Con a FUNimation, a detentora dos direitos dos Rebuild of Evangelion nos Estados Unidos, exibiu no evento Evangelion 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo dublado em inglês.

Desde lá atrasos e mais atrasos foram anunciados com a justificativa que teriam que redublar o filme e que o trabalho estava sendo acompanhado de perto pela Khara Studios.

Na edição deste ano da New York Comic Con, a empresa novamente deu uma previsão para o lançamento. A previsão desta fez é para  início de 2016, com possibilidade para o final de 2015.

It was in October 2013 when in  New York Comic Con the FUNimation, the holder of the rights of the Rebuild of Evangelion in the United States, exhibited  Evangelion 3:33 You Can event (Not) Redo dubbed into English.

Since there delays and more delays were announced on the grounds that they would have redub the film and that work was being closely monitored by Khara Studios.
