A cadeia de parque temático da Sega chamado Joypolis está comemorando o seu 20º aniversário. De 22 de novembro de 2016 até 9 de Janeiro de 2017, o Tokyo Joypolis estará com uma colaboração com Evangelion, chamado “Evangelion X Joypolis Impact”.
Durante o período o “Geki-on Live Coaster” (uma espécie de brinquedo que combina montanha russa e música) se transformará em uma atração temática de Evangelion. A promessa é que o brinquedo dê a sensação aos passageiros de estar n o cockpit de um Eva acentuando a experiência com músicas de Rebuild of Evangelion.
Colaborações similares já aconteceram entre o Tokyo Joypolis e outros animes, como “Danganronpa” e “Sweetness and Lightning”. Entretanto os responsáveis que a enorme fanbase de Eva tragam mais clientes para o parque do que as outras parcerias.
