Nesta semana, mais precisamente no dia 23 de Maio, a loja e editora Dark Horse lançar a versão em inglês do mangá “Neon Genesis Evangelion: Legend Of The Piko Piko Middle School Students”.

Com roteiro de Yushi Kawata e arte de Yukito, o mangá é uma comédia misturando Evas e Video Game. Para preparar para o lançamento, a Dark Horse publicou um trailer special do mangá que você pode ver abaixo.

A sinopse do primeiro volume também foi divulgada: “Invasores misteriosos estão ameaçando a Terra. . . Então, recrutar um grupo de crianças de uma escola de elite para jogar videogames que secretamente irá treiná-los para a verdadeira luta que está pela frente! Este plano soa familiar? Bem, é melhor eles terem um novo plano, porque as crianças são Shinji, Rei, Asuka e Kaworu, e eles estão muito ocupados jogando para entrar no maldito robô!”

O primeiro volume possui 152 páginas e custará U$11, 99 dólares. No Japão, o mangá já está no Volume 3.

This week, more precisely on May 23rd, a store and publisher Dark Horse will release english version of the manga “Neon Genesis Evangelion: Legend of the Piko Piko Middle School Students”.

With a script by Yushi Kawata and Yukito Art, the manga is a comedy mixing Evas and Video Game. To prepare for the release, a Dark Horse has posted a special manga trailer that you can see below.

The synopsis of the first volume was also revealed: “Mysterious invaders are threatening Earth . . . so recruit a group of elite school kids to play video games that secretly train them for the real fight that lies ahead! Does this plan sound familiar? Well, they’d better get a new plan, because the elite school kids are Shinji, Rei, Asuka, and Kaworu, and they’re too busy playing games to ever get in the fricking robot!”
