A empresa Vertex, responsável também pela produção de diversos produtos de Evangelion, como ventiladores e humidificares, anunciou em seu site a produção de uma nova miniatura, dessa vez de Rei Ayanami.
A miniatura se trata de uma versão chamada “ENTRY PLUG INTERIOR”. Esta versão já tinha sido mostrada no Wonder Festival. A mesma empresa, em Dezembro de 2012, lançou a versão de Asuka desse modelo.
O lançamento da versão de Rei Ayanami esta prevista para Julho por 39.900 Ienes, cerca de U$392 Dólares.
