Um grande evento sobre Evangelion desembarcará em Shangai na China de 16 de Novembro à 1º de Dezembro. O EVA EXPO é muito similar ao que está acontecendo em Ginza, no Japão, que estará em tour no Japão até 2015.
O evento contará com mais de 1000 peças da série e dos filmes incluindo cenas de fundo, storyboards, layouts, artes conceituais, miniaturas em tamanho real e vídeos. O evento terá também cenários recriados como a base da Nerv e o quarto de Rei Ayanami.
Está planejado também um show de luzes formando uma figura 3D de Evangelion. Acontecerá também uma seleção de Cosplay, onde o vencedor será contratado como modelo oficial em eventos baseados em Evangelion na China.

A big event of Evangelion will arrive in Shanghaii-China from November 16 to December 1. The EVA EXPO is very similar to what is happening in Ginza, Japan, which will be on tour in Japan to 2015.
The event will feature over 1,000 pieces of the series and movies including background scenes, storyboards, layouts, concept art, life-size figure and videos. The event will also recreated scenarios as Nerv base and bedroom of Rei Ayanami.
Also planned is a show of lights forming a 3D figure. Happen also a selection of cosplay, where the winner will be hired as the official model for events based on Evangelion in China.
